Ok, so I've decided to learn fluids over this project. This will be a very important aspect to me for the next year at least, so I need to get going ASAP! Firstly, Here is a quick test vid I did to get back into the swing of setting up fluid systems.
to make this I created a 3d continer, set up the contents, then added a few emmiters and animated them to get the timing. I then tweaked the details to give out the trail drop off. I then used a streaky particle system to give off the sparks.
EVALUATION:
ok so i was happy with this, only for the reason that it means nothing. Its not a concept, wasnt hard to make, and is completely random. For our spells, I would like to take the fluids straight from 2d drawings and other pre production, straight through to the final simulation.
